“I don't feel like myself.”

I've heard those words more times than I can count.

In the exam room. In conversations with women. From women who are successful, capable, busy, and accustomed to handling a lot.

Sometimes they can't even explain exactly what's changed.

They're not sleeping like they used to. Their anxiety feels different. Their energy is unpredictable. Their body is changing despite doing all the things that used to work. They can't find the words as quickly. Their patience is shorter. Their confidence feels different.

They just know:

“I don't feel like me.”

And yet, they're still doing what women do.

Showing up. Leading teams. Raising families. Building careers. Caring for everyone else. Keeping everything moving.

Too often, no one has ever explained that the transition through perimenopause and menopause may be part of what they're experiencing.

And almost inevitably, another question follows:

“Why didn't anyone tell me this?”

That's where my story comes in.

I've spent more than 20 years in healthcare—as a respiratory therapist, nurse, certified nurse midwife, women's health nurse practitioner, educator, and nursing leader.

Over and over, I've seen the same gap: we prepare women for so many stages of reproductive life, yet one of the most significant transitions in a woman's health often arrives with surprisingly little preparation.

I wanted to change that.

First came Eros Health.

I founded Eros Health to create the kind of midlife healthcare I believed women deserved: evidence-based, individualized, approachable, and built around actually listening to women.

Every day in my practice, I see what can happen when a woman finally understands what is happening in her body.

There is power in being able to say:

“Oh. This makes sense.”

But I also realized something else.

This conversation is bigger than the exam room.

That's why I speak.

Midlife doesn't happen in isolation.

It walks into boardrooms and classrooms. It shows up in relationships, families, careers, leadership, confidence, sleep, health, and the way women experience their everyday lives.

And it often arrives during the exact years when women are carrying tremendous responsibility and stepping into some of their greatest levels of expertise and influence.

The Midlife Hustle was created to bring this conversation out of the clinic and into the places women live, work, lead, and connect.

My goal isn't simply to teach women about menopause.

It's to change the way we understand women's health in midlife—and give women, workplaces, healthcare systems, and communities the knowledge to navigate it differently.

Because when women understand what is happening in their bodies, they can make informed decisions about their health, advocate for what they need, and keep showing up in ways that are sustainable for the lives they're building.
